Featured: Geriba Beach
This is Geriba Beach, my favorite beach in all of Buzios. This beach has the life and sports of Buzios, and a lot of the young fun surfers. The break on the waves is great for learning how to surf, and the water is clear. There is a bar on the east side of the beach, and the view of the beach is amazing.
Geriba beach is a short walk or taxi ride from downtown Buzios, and is best to visit between 10am and 2pm. There are many vendors selling food and drinks on the beach, as well as surf schools.

Armação Beach
Armação beach is beside Rua das Pedras, the main street in Buzios. The contrast between Rua das Pedras and the beach is amazing... you walk down a slim walkway and see an amazing view at the end. I would not suggest swimming in this water, there is green stuff on the sand as you can see, but it is great for a walk or even a drink.
Many restaurants back right up to Armação beach and have huge glass windows overlooking it.
